What is digiID?
digiID is a private document wallet for iPhone. It stores personal copies of cards and documents, helps you search their details, tracks expiry dates and lets you share selected fields.
Does digiID work offline?
Yes. You can open and search documents saved on your iPhone without an internet connection. Sending a copy through another app or downloading digiID may require a connection.
Can I keep passport and ID copies in digiID?
You can keep personal copies for reference. A digiID copy is not an official digital ID and does not replace the original document required by an airline, border authority or other organization.
Do I need an account?
No online wallet account is required. Your iPhone must have a device passcode, and you authenticate to open the wallet.
What happens when I change or lose my phone?
Before changing phones, create an encrypted recovery file and save its matching key separately. Both are needed to restore the wallet. Wallet files are excluded from automatic device backups, and digiID cannot recover a lost key. Read the recovery guide.
Is digiID a payment wallet?
No. Version 2.0 organizes personal document copies. It does not make payments, provide bank accounts or add official credentials to Apple Wallet.
How much does it cost?
The App Store shows the current download price in your region. Version 2.0 contains no in-app purchases or subscriptions. Any future paid features will be clearly described before purchase.
